In early 2009 OneClickMed will provide a secure, fully HIPAA compliant network via the OCM Portal, which will customize, integrate, and add features to the websites of physicians, rural hospitals, and healthcare providers (the “SCN”).

The purpose of our Virtual office and SCN is to let physicians and providers communicate securely with their offices, patients, and other doctors, to streamline the workflow in a practice or hospital, and to create a networking community between healthcare companies and doctors. In addition, companies in the medical industry including manufacturers, pharmaceutical firms, insurance companies, etc. often need a platform for communication with physicians, the public and with each other. Our marketing directories integrated with our SCN and the doctor’s Virtual Office will provide such a vehicle for the doctor to market himself while taking care of his patients.

The SCN will enable four levels of access and features: physician (level 1), patient (level 2), administrator (level 3), and end-user on the open web (level 4).

The SCN gives doctors secured online access to patient records. These records are retrievable from any cellular device or computer that accesses the internet. It also enables physicians to network with one another and share data securely.

The SCN also gives doctors access to continuing education and seminars and the latest research and advancements in specialty medicine and medical technology. All of this will be available from the practitioner’s virtual office and desktop and delivered via streaming video, downloadable imaging such as CAT and PET Scans in real-time, X-Rays and test results, and hyperlinks to medical libraries and open Forums. The SCN will further provide Telemedicine programs and networks, including training.

In terms of patient access, the customized Virtual Offices of OCM’s SCN subscribers will include doctors’ forms online, so a new patient can go online and fill out forms before arriving for his or her appointment. Patients can, via their own password protected access, view their test and lab results, instructions from the doctor, check on insurance and billing issues, schedule appointments, and, most importantly, have access to their medical records wherever they are, 24X7.

The SCN is a Tier-One secured network with back-up and redundancy, and fully HIPAA compliant. Patient information and records, and associated documentation, will be totally private and stored in an encrypted “Private Data Storage Vault”. This will provide a fully HIPAA compliant system.
