In early 2011, OneClickMed will offer a full electronic medical records solution to physicians, hospitals, and medical practices. OneClickMed’s electronic medical record (EMR) solution will include electronic medical record programs and conversion solutions, patient billing, scheduling, document management, practice management, and occupational medicine capabilities as part of one integrated system. The program will support 38 medical specialties plus allow customization for the unique or individualist requirements of a particular practice.
The specific features of the total EMR solution will include patient and third party insurance billing, online appointment scheduling for both patients and referring physicians, practice management tools to monitor and report on aging receivables, new patients and patient demographics, patient insurance plans, financial ledger, and tools to ensure up to date patient documentation for case management purposes, key contacts, referrals, and notes.
The EMR solution will also include automated prescription ordering between physicians and integrated pharmacies. The EMR will be equipped with an automated drug interaction and/or counter-indication alert that will immediately inform doctors of any potentially hazardous interactions between prescribed medications, and also inform the physician of any drug allergies specific to the patient being prescribed for.
The private labeled EMR solution will make the doctor’s office available to the physician virtually via the web and in real time for access to patient records including patient pictures and their medical and drug histories. Additionally, the EMR system will allow patients access to their own records including access to test results and lab reports. Immediate patient access to records can prove to be invaluable in case of an emergency.
