The key purpose of The Directories is to give OCM subscribers (e.g. physicians, healthcare providers and insurers, manufacturers including pharmaceutical firms and device makers, etc.) a B2B advertising platform that will extend their marketing and electronic outreach. Each distinct directory category – there are 14 (shown below) - has its own online space and placement ranking for banner ads, sponsorship ads, preview ads, and company profile advertisements directly linking into the advertiser’s website.

The 14 Medical Directories

Profiles and listings of OCM subscribers in The Directories will contain hyperlinks to the subscribers’ websites, direct mapping for addresses, an email facility to contact the profiled company, an automated Request for Quote form for manufacturers and service providers, non-emergency scheduling with a doctor, weekly advertisements from local pharmacies for the retail market, and other value-added features.

All of the companies are tagged and associated into one or more of the 14 Directories. This categorization aids search functions associated with the Directories. It also contributes to the optimization of our subscribers’ profiles and their websites for raising the visibility and discovery of and search results by the search engines. It will also allow for a B2B community to be formed and the networking and bringing together of new patients, providers and customers.

The Directories have a number of intuitive search functions and features. A Business to Consumer (B2C) function will allow users to access the free portion of the OCM Portal and look up doctors or healthcare companies by specialty and/or whatever geography or distance is of interest. Our subscribers and doctors, for example, can use the Directories to search and identify device manufacturers or pharmaceutical companies for research, comparison, or buying purposes. Patient’s can find a specialty doctor and find out their certifications and how long they have been practicing. Doctor’s can publish medical and research articles and find out about the latest technology. Scientists will have a place to market their new technology and a platform to show new innovations and research. OCM’s Directories allows the whole ecosystem of the healthcare community to do business with one another and receive the most up to date information as possible.
